The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for managing projects and providing service support to ensure efficient and effective operations across the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage projects related to renovation and cyclical maintenance of Childcare and Student Care Centres from planning to execution.
- Oversee term contracts for Facilities Management services to support the needs of various centres.
- Lead system administration of new digitalization initiatives such as eProcurement System, CCTV, and Access Control System.
- Assist in conducting checks and audits of projects to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health requirements.
- Assist in formulating processes and procedures for the Operations Department.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (Building & Construction) related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing renovation projects; knowledge in Civil Engineering and/or Building and Construction preferred.
- Experience with Pre-school ECDA Guidelines, especially in renovation and cyclical maintenance.
- Experience in IT support coordination is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office Apps.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in Mandarin with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
