Roles & Responsibilities
· Serves as a contact point for all quality, food safety, co-manufacturing and regulatory issues.
· Perform project coordination for specific OEM clients.
· Investigate and respond to all customer complaints on any quality and safety issues in a timely manner and ensure that all issues raised are resolved in a satisfactory manner.
· In-charge of the maintenance and application of company licenses and certifications (e.g. SFA, Halal, FSSC 22000).
· Manage, implement, review and update FSSC 22000 documents (Policy, SOP, WI).
· In-charge of government inspections and food safety certification audits.
· Responsible for product specification and nutrition information generation and ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements.
· Provide technical support on the manufacturing process.
· Oversee of GMP and food safety training for Production personnel.
· Support in setting-up of manufacturing plant overseas.
Job requirements
· Bachelors’ Degree in Food Science & Technology or related field
· Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in food processing industry
· Able lead, guide and manage a small team with effective communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Well-versed with FSSC, HALAL, GMP and other food related regulations in Singapore and other countries
· Relevant experience in handling FSSC, SFA, Halal, and customer audits
· Able to work independently with minimum supervision
