Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the salon staff team in providing excellent services and maximizing profit
- Achieving Sales and Gross Margin targets on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Manage day-to-day operations of the salon including opening and closing procedures, staff behavior and customer intake procedures
- Interview, hire and train staff in both product and sales
- skills/procedures, policy and health regulations
- Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for the salons needs
- Set individual team member goals and objectives. Monitor staff performance and provide guidance for growth
- Ensure that staff adheres to company policies and procedures
- Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to staff disputes
- Account for and report profits and expenses of the salon
- Prepare and maintain sales, inventory and customer reports
- Manage salon products inventory by maintaining records of stock quantities on hand,managing theft protection and ensure the merchandise is restocked, replenished, and presented to visual standards
- Keep the salon clean and visually stimulating
- Track and review client retention data and adjust the company's service strategy as necessary
- Assist in implementing marketing activities and carry out a promotional calendar to increase sales productivity Qualifications And Skills
- Extensive customer service provider experience
- Advanced organizational skills to manage staff and operations
- General bookkeeping and business finance skills
- Excellent communication and teamleadership skills
- Detailed knowledge of the beauty industry and customer needs
- Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including french manicures, airbrushingand gel manicures
- Knowledge of cosmetology trends
- Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
- Experience in customer service
- Interest and ability to continue learning about market standards and changes in trends
- Must be able to work night shift or split shift
- Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed
