Responsibilities:


Supply Quality Management

  • Ensure timely feedback to warehouse team and supplier for any non-conformance or quality deficiency for the supplied items.
  • Periodically monitor supplier performance based on the rejected items during incoming and production as well as the responses on actions taken for those rejected items.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for the point (2) above as part of periodic reporting to Quality Manager, include the improvement action that Supplier has taken.
  • Conduct desktop audit or site audit to existing or new supplier for existing or new ingredients.
  • Review and verified identified root cause and planned corrective actions by external parties, including supplier, vendor, service provider in CPAR
  • Perform data analysis including supplier performance on root cause and corrective action and preventive action for supplier improvement and monitor effectiveness check on supplier improvement actions.
  • Analyze supplier monitoring performance metric and driving supplier performance improvement.
  • Organize monthly supplier meetings, issue, review, monitor external CPAR and supplier performance monitoring and supplier quality improvements.
  • Monitor new suppliers or existing suppliers with extended scope or changes.

Support on Operation

  • Align with company policy to ensure good quality and safe products are produced
  • Ensure QC inspector prioritize on work safety
  • Carry out inspection task according to BRCGS, SMETA 4-pillars, FDA standards, HACCP & GMP requirements
  • Supervise QC team on their work to ensure smooth line release and production process with production team on daily operation.
  • Establish SOP for QC inspector to accommodate the Quality requirements in production area and get a review and approval from QA manager
  • Conduct daily meeting to QC team on the duty roster, inspection procedures, fulfilment of inspection record
  • Support QA manager to ensure effectiveness of SOP implementation by factory team
  • Report to QA manager for overall Quality performances which include good documentation, good manufacturing practice and good hygiene practice in the plant.
  • Support on new innovation project which include factory trial.
  • Conduct data analysis, trending and reporting on RM/FG rejects, microbiological, environmental, and in-process parameters
  • Ensure calibration of instruments is timely carried out
  • Issue CAPA to respective department and follow up verification and effectiveness check
  • Ensure QC lab consumables are properly stocked for daily operations
  • Support in lab operation improvement projects for continual improvement
  • Maintain and review for CPAR closure, monitoring and tracking for the effectiveness of CAPA implementation.
  • Support in environmental monitoring program for facilities and their data collection and trending
  • To support on the others task, which is assigned by QA manager

Required Competency

  • Experience in supplier management, supplier approval, supplier performance monitoring.
  • Good interpersonal skill, in collaboration with supplier.
  • Lead QC team to ensure inspections are carried out in respective area in factory according to Manual & procedures of BRCGS, SMETA 4-pillars, FDA, HACCP standard and GMP requirements
  • Good people management and communication skills
  • Good understanding and working experience in root cause analysis on deviation and non-conformances handling and good problem-solving skills with use of QC tools.
  • Experience in developing SOP, work instructions, checklist, forms, and records
  • Experience in chemical and microbiological testing
