Job Description:
You will need to design and implement the iSeries development artefacts and frameworks. This role will require strong knowledge in AS400 applications and integration with external systems. The role is also expected to document relevant artefacts along with establishing best practices for design and development.
Scope of Work:
- Work with Development, QA, iSeries and App Support to collect the requirements for analysis and implementation
- Prepare high level and low level solutioning for the requirements
- Perform impact analysis and identify code changes
- Perform modularized coding and implementation of the changes and unit test documentation
- Work with peers on reviewing the artefacts
- Support QA and UAT testing
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
Key Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in iSeries development using RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, Stored Procedures, and Service programs
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Screen Design, Report Generation, Database Design and SQL
- Hands on experience of impact analysis using X-Analysis and usage of turnover tool for release management
- Working knowledge of MS SQL and Java
- Knowledge of DT Share is a plus
