The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a Luxury Retail client and we are currently looking for a Logistics Executive to join their business. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position requires the incumbent to oversee a team of 4-5 to handle daily logistics coordination between boutiques for all inbound and outbound matters around the region. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who have 2-3 years of experience overseeing/mentoring their team members.

The Job:

  • Oversee the tracking of all outgoing shipments to guarantee timely execution and delivery
  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule export shipments to meet specified timelines
  • Optimize freight and related costs through the strategic scheduling and consolidation of export shipments
  • Process and prepare shipments within the system and ensure declared permits comply with Singapore Customs regulations
  • Timely processing of all returns (both inter-company & Export Wholesalers)
  • Update the inbound shipment database daily and ensure no discrepancies
  • Strategically plan, enhance recording, maintain cost-effective buffer stock levels, and conduct monthly accounting for the re-export of CITES to regional markets
  • Handle ATA Carnet applications, monitor renewals and return status, work with stakeholders to address discrepancies, ensure accurate completion by customs and guarantee compliance with regional guidelines for ATA Carnet hand-carry
  • Assess and review forwarding agents' performance and service, and support in sourcing and selecting new agents
  • Organize CIT for local and overseas shipments, manage the Claims Database with monthly updates, and coordinate secure transportation for Brands events and photoshoots
  • Prepare export shipment, lead-time performance, and CITES purchase and usage reports
  • Identify staff training needs, foster team building and leadership, and manage staff including recruitment and development
  • Meet or exceed set targets and KPIs, satisfy stakeholder requirements, and achieve a rating above 3.5 in the yearly satisfaction survey

The Talent:

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Prior experience in logistics for luxury retail/consumer goods is an added advantage
  • Ensure compliance with all customs regulations (local, national, and international regulations)
  • Manage the complete process of inbound and outbound air shipments, to ensure workflow at all times
  • Independent worker, able to make rational decisions and provide guidance to juniors
  • Knowledge in Tradenet and SAP is an added advantage
