We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join an oil & gas MNC as an Accounts Assistant. This role is crucial for the day-to-day functions of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables for the Singapore, London, and US operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in AP & AR, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily processing of Accounts Payables and Receivables
- Updating the data to relevant accounting systems
- Preparing daily bank reconciliation and following up on outstanding reconciling items
- Liaising with Settlements team for processing of trade invoices
- Processing of overhead as well as employee payroll and claims and posting of the corresponding journals
- Assisting in tax and audit matters
- Addressing of audit points/observations
- Other ad-hoc duties and projects
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, or equivalent with 4 years’ experience in AP &AR
- Proficiency in MS Office especially in Microsoft Excel
- Sun/Horizon/IMOS system experience is an advantage
- Working experience with a logistic and commodities company is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure
- Possess good planning and organizing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
