Job Description
- The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for checking and running of the Finance department's daily operations (making sure financial transactions/data are prepare according to IFRS), formulating reports and data to provide analysis to Management for decision making, liasing with government authorities on company matters.
- Researching and developing financial reports.
- Evaluating/analysing financial reports/data.
- Presenting financial reports/data to Management & HODs and briefing them on the details.
- Drafting and creation of the various budgets/strategies the company will need for financial growth.
- Analysing and overseeing Company structure risks. (Holding companies and Subsidiaries) and providing strategies to streamline.
- Implement/monitoring internal control measures.
- Streamlining current operations and accounting measures with a view to making them more efficient.
- Checking on the financial transactions that are made by Accounts Executive. (Transaction to comply with IFRS).
- Flagging potential risk and discrepancies to Management.
- Coordinating Audit processes and ensuring everything runs smoothly and liasing with Auditors.
- Liaise with Bankers for Company funding and needs.
- Liaise with IRAS for GST, Tax and Company matters / GST submission / IRAS Grants / Other related grants.
- Liaise with ACRA for Company matters.
- Submission of Annual Returns with ACRA.
- Submission/maintaining Register of Registrable Controllers (RORC) with ACRA.
- Liase with Suppliers on price changes / change of suppliers, checking on the COGS report prepared by staff.
Requirements
- Preferably min 3 years of experience in F&B.
- Ability to multi-task and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
- Collaborative, fast-moving with change.
- Degree in Finance/Accounts or equivalent.
