Sales Operations Senior Executive
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for delivering the annual sales target and oversee all counter/store operations including:
1. Ensuring store targets are achieved
2. Daily, monthly reporting of the sales achievements
3. Working closely with the Brand GM to ensure that overall marketing, activation plans are properly executed to achieve the sales goals
4. Managing and motivating the Beauty Advisor team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sales Management
• Manage retail sales targets and ensure delivery against objectives set.
• Drive and maintain highest levels of per door productivity.
• Working with Brand GM to set sales strategies for each counter/store.
• Lead the execution of the Retail Sales Plan, working with retail partners and marketing, including the planning of monthly sales mechanics.
• Manage and report on deliverables against event plans and objectives, including per store brand ranking against competition.
• Sell-in proposals for new products to retail partners.
2. People Management
• Develop own team of BAs and counter leads, including rostering, hiring, grooming and coaching.
• Work with training division to develop needed skills, reinforce training initiatives at the retail level and recommend specific training and strategies to address individual store profiles.
· Plan, manage and monitor the provision of High Touch and effective customer service through monthly office trainings and instore/counter coaching.
· Plan and conduct monthly sales update meetings with the Beauty Advisor team.
· Manage the incentive and commission scheme to drive the team towards achievement of target.
• Maintain low staff turnover.
• Protect Sisley’s reputation as a beauty employer of choice in Singapore.
3. Operations Management
• Responsible for maintaining image and presentation of Sisley in-store i.e. Visual merchandising (VM), timely delivery of collaterals, cleanliness. Includes weekly counter checks to ensure standards are upheld.
• Lead the opening of new counters/stores, pop-up stores, event activations and temporary counters.
• Inventory control i.e. module, sell-through, and obsolescence and stock takes.
• Working with Sales Manager to uphold the standards of our facial cabins.
• Managing the monthly sales closing and ensuring all sales, commission, OT, claims paper work is reconciled and submitted to finance.
4. Other responsibilities
• Partner with Training division to answer customer enquiries/feedback/complaints.
· Monthly competitor activity feedback on sales, mechanics, activations.
· Any other adhoc duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience – minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail sales and operations in Singapore local market.
• Prior experience in the cosmetic retail or beauty industry would be preferred and a strong knowledge in Beauty category (skincare & makeup) is a plus.
• Min qualification – Diploma.
• A real passion for people and their development and the beauty industry, including a love of learning new things.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral and high competency in presentation.
• Excellent customer service skills and standards with a good understanding of retail business and the market.
• Demonstrated solid leadership skills and an excellent team player with ability to motivate others, to adapt to different situations and to problem-solve.
• Results oriented with a strong “hands-on” approach when required.
