A strong global presence, trading house is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cargo Operator to join their team.
We are looking for a Junior Cargo Operator to assist in the management of cargo operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing documentation, and ensuring the smooth execution of trade transactions.

Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day operations of the trading desk.
- Coordinates all operational aspects of physical trading books' activity.
- Assesses operational and business risks and minimizes impacts.
- Assist with providing internal and external stakeholder with reports of daily operations.
- Work closely with trader strategies by leveraging product movement knowledge and external relationships.
- Reviews product movement reconciliations and conducts Loss Control investigations.
- Develops proficiency in assessing risks in non-standard contracts and implementing strategies for new regions or tenders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to cargo operations.
- Performs additional tasks as delegated by Team Leads and Regional Head of Operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Maritime, or related field.
- Minimun 2 years of experience in cargo operations, vessel operations, or trading is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
