HR Senior Manager (Employee & Union Relations)
Descriptions:
Employee Relations
- Develop and implement ER strategies.
- Provide advice & guidance to HODs and HRBPs.
- Partner with HRBPs to resolve employee concerns and complaints.
- Conduct investigations into allegations of inappropriate conduct.
- Ensure disciplinary issues are resolved fairly through investigations and Board of Inquiry (BOI), in accordance with the Disciplinary policy.
- Manage staff-related whistle-blowing cases.
- Identify legal risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Conduct training to HODs, HRBPs and employees to resolve workplace issues.
- Partnership with Group Employee Relations CoE.
Union Relations
- Build positive and harmonious Labour-Management relations.
- Build trust and cordial working relationship between HR, Union HQ, Branch Union to resolve staff issues/ grievances amicably.
- Partnership between Union and Management to develop and upskill employees.
- Partnership with Union to develop effective employee engagement strategies to foster a productive and motivated workforce.
- Plan regular Union-Management meetings/ engagement events.
- Partnership with Group Employee Relations CoE.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, preferably in HR, or a post-graduate diploma in human resource management.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience, with a good understanding of HR practices, Employment Act, Labour Law, and HR-related legislation.
- Strong experience in working with the Union.
- Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
