Responsibilities:
- Conduct market, securities, and fund research in Pan Asia markets
- Conduct due diligence on prospective and active investments, including meeting management teams, talking to industry consultants and attending industry conferences
- Prepare performance reports and investment plans to CIO and execute related investment decisions
- Construct and manage the position and exposure of the portfolio, and be responsible for P&L monitoring and performance attribution
- Monitoring portfolio risk to minimize drawdown
- Ensure compliance requirements to be met
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics or Finance; CFA candidate or CFA chartered holder is an advantage
- Over 7 years of experience in managing equity funds/equity discretionary portfolio, portfolio monitoring, and risk management is required
- Good knowledge of global market and consumer equities with good analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, attentive to details and well-organized
- Experience in market neutral strategy is a plus
- A proven track record is a big plus
