Job Description
- Position: Quality Engineer / Assistant Engineer
- Well Established Japanese Manufacturing MNC
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus
- Working hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)

Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise and execute projects and tasks based on the objective set by Management.
- Solve and prevent problem occurrence and to increase customer satisfaction on Product Quality.
- Perform quality, environment, and water efficiency system maintenance in the company.
- Support in maintaining & upkeep ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF1694, ISO 17025 and ISO 13485 and ISO 46001 in the company.
- Understand company’s Quality, Environment, Water Efficiency and OH&S Policy and Objectives, Environment aspects and impacts, Safety news, Safety risk assessment, Information Security risks, etc.
- Perform internal QEMS and WEMS audit and coordination with internal department for external QEMS and WEMS audit, provide support for customer audit and perform vendor audit.
- Monitoring production department quality failure cost.
- Perform calibration & maintenance of x-ray machine, ensure good housekeeping of X-ray equipment’s area, and update monthly schedule report of x-ray machine.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in any Engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years experiences in quality assurance, preferably with experience in supplier management and product qualification.
- Strong understanding of automotive 5 core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) and good working knowledge of Minitab or JMP application will be added advantage.
- Good knowledge of 8D problem solving tools (Fishbone diagram, 5-Why, etc.) is preferred.
