Responsibilities
• Able to use the right tools and execute task instructions in accordance to maintenance manuals.
• Perform scheduled Preventive and Corrective maintenance tasks.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Perform system and cybersecurity patches.
• Involve in tech refresh activities.
• Process and execution of configuration, asset and change management.
Requirements
• Knowledge in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE) preferred.
• Experience in managing enterprise Linux (SUSE Linux) and Windows server environments in a complex IT infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of high availability and fault-tolerant system architectures, with experience in clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with SQL database maintenance.
• Familiarity with network protocols, monitoring, remote administration, routing, switching, and firewall configuration, particularly with Palo Alto, McAfee, and Checkpoint appliances.
• Experience with SAN storage solutions and storage area networks (SAN).
• Knowledge of Microsemi NTP (Network Time Protocol) for time synchronization across network devices.
• Possess problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Certifications:Holding the following certifications or their equivalents would be beneficial.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Server+
• ITIL Foundation
