What a Visual Inspection Engineer does in HP:
- Provide engineering support for the high-volume manufacturing line (MEMS Fab) in term of automated visual inspection process.
- Liaison with tooling vendor to develop new visual inspection capability or resolve issues.
- Perform data analysis to define defect signature in process troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Product and down-stream partners on new defect definition and develop inspection strategy.
- Plan and execute tool installation from FAT till tool is release to production.
- Provide training to operators to enable them to run the machine in a safe and efficient operation.
Individuals who will do well in this role in HP, usually possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Diploma with at least 5 years of technical support experience will be considered.
- Experience in Visual Inspect system will be preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and other data analytics tool (JMP).
- Aware of the latest industry trend in automation and AI development.
- Proficient in programming languages C++, python, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional team.
