We are a European MNC in the building construction/materials industry that is currently expanding and seeking suitable candidates for the Commercial Executive position.
1. Job Purpose & Scope
- To develop and drive Sales in the assigned segment
- To drive marketing activities and initiatives for the business unit

- Effective relationships with all key stakeholders (include customers internal/external).
3. Key Responsibilities & Job Content
Sales:
- Develop and execute strategies for product penetration (Grodan - stone wool agriculture substrate) in the market to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Identify and prioritize potential clients, including commercial growers, agricultural companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Drive leads and customer engagement effectively through CRM system
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to acquire new accounts.
- Create awareness about the products (Grodan) and their benefits within the target market through various channels such as industry events, workshops, and demonstrations.
- Develop marketing materials including brochures, presentations, and online content to effectively communicate product features and advantages.
- Coordinate with Headquarter marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and initiatives tailored to the agriculture sector.
- Utilize digital marketing platforms including social media, email marketing, and online advertising to reach potential customers and generate leads.
- Work closely with internal teams including technical team, operation team, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery and support for clients.
- Monitor and provide market movement and intelligence
Marketing:
- Assist in developing marketing strategies and campaigns for the ROCKWOOL insulation business unit
- Collaborate with external agency and regional marketing team to create compelling content, advertisements, and promotional materials for traditional and digital channels.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance matrix for campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Support marketing activities, reporting and product launch campaigns
- Drive digital marketing activities such social media and e-commence
- Support product pricing
Professional Skills
- At least Diploma in Marketing/ Business/ Agriculture or related field
- Preferably 1 -2 years’ working experience in similar field.
- Proficient in English language both in written and spoken
- Understanding of agricultural practices, especially in hydroponics and substrate cultivation.
- Familiar with digital marketing tools and platforms such as CRM, Google Analytics, and social media management tools.

- Proactive and able to work under pressure with multi-tasking ability
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages such as Mandarin or Malay is a plus
