Interior Designer/ Senior Interior Designer

Position Summary

Sandbox Studio is a business division under ITS Science & Medical. Responsibilities

1. Translate briefs & creative strategies into creative concepts
2. Working on interior design projects from concept through to completion
3. To be confident and proficient in taking responsibilities for the design and coordination of simultaneous projects
4. Involve in preparing layout test fit to assist in feasibility study of projects
5. Prepare and produce Schedules and Presentations
6. Familiar with industry standard practices from SD, DD, CD to As-built
7. Coordinate and liaise with Architect QP to ensure layout compliance with authorities’ requirements
8. To coordinate a team and communicate ideas both internally and externally
9. Assist the team in explanation of design details to construction team
10. Working hand-in-hand with Clients, QS and Project Managers to deliver a seamless experience in design and project delivery
11. Conduct site supervision & inspection (QA/QC) on site if required
12. Gets updated and refreshed on design guidelines, trends, materials

Requirements

1. Minimum a Diploma or above in a related field, preferably from a design or creative program
2. Preferably to have min. 5 years of experience in related field and possess a strong interior design & technical background in commercial interior design works
3. Understanding of latest trends, materials, technology and practices in the industry
4. Able to work with design software like, Adobe, AutoCAD and Sketchup
5. Able to work with Enscape will be a bonus
6. Familiarity of Code of Practices, Guidelines and Singapore Regulations will be a bonus
7. Able to work with basic office software like MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Projects
8. Team player with a great can-do attitude
9. Having a positive attitude and proactive mindset
