Overall
Responsible for monthly financial closing and preparation of management reports for the companies of NTUC Enterprise Co-operative and/or the Group.
You are expected to:
- Closing of accounts
- Handle the accounts for assigned entities, including review of accuracy and commentaries on variance analysis
- Work with Shared Services to ensure smooth closing for monthly and year-end accounts
- Review audit schedules prepared by Shared Services to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Prepare financial statements and support statutory audit
- Statutory reporting
- Support any statutory filing requirements
- Budget and Projection
- Prepare annual budget and projection updates
- Work with departments to understand assumptions and inputs
- Administrative Support
- Raise Purchase Requisitions or Payment Request for procurement
- Support maintenance of Group Chart of Accounts
- Support administrative matters for the Finance team, including filing and mailing of documents
- Interact and work closely with staff from other departments to provide support on financial matters
- Any other ad-hoc or project work assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Be a team player and also able to work independently
- Organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Motivated, proactive and optimistic about challenges
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with SAP ERP system will be an advantage
