RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop firmware to support user interfaces of the device, ensuring alignment with project objectives and established guidelines/specifications.
- Analyse design requirements and determine coding, programming, and integration activities necessary to achieve project goals.
- Execute and write portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.
- Participate as a member of project team of other firmware engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality, high-performance solutions for assigned portion or subsystem.
- Collaborate and communicate with partners regarding the design status, project progress and issue resolutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Electronic Engineering or related IT field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant IT field.
- Experience in embedded firmware development in RTOS environment.
- Experience in various phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in source code management tools (E.g., Git).
- Experience and proficiency in C/C++ are an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledgeable in firmware design methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
- Utilize Linux-based development experience and knowledge, with familiarity with Agile development methodology is a plus.
