Job Description:
Planning and Process Improvement
· Translate the APSO strategic priorities into actionable operational plans and initiatives
· Develop frameworks and methodologies to support effective execution of strategic initiatives.
· Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including Finance and BI&A teams to enhance business planning processes, including LRFP, BP, and Strategic Asset Plans.
· Identify, develop and implement operational initiatives for APSO that deliver efficient, compliant and value adding procedures and processes to our ways of working.
Strategy Execution and Management
· Lead execution of AP TASLT governance, manage performance dashboards, and support TA leads in tracking and decision-making processes for AP patients.
· Manage performance dashboards to support TA leads in their decision-making processes and track progress towards strategic objectives for AP patients.
· Enhance collaboration with the R&D team to ensure pipeline success in the APAC region.
Operational Efficiencies and Stakeholder Engagement
· Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes and propose strategies for improvement across APSO.
· Implement process optimisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adoption of initiatives that facilitate change and improve communications with and within APSO.
· Establish key performance indicators and metrics to track progress towards strategic goals with subsequent ongoing analysis of data to identify areas for further improvement and reporting to senior management.
Project Management and Risk Assessment
· Drive discipline among cross functional teams for project plans, timelines, OPEX, resources and metrics to ensure successful implementation.
· Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact the successful implementation of strategic initiatives and drive mitigation strategies to minimise potential disruption.
· Ensure robust audit management processes are in place, maintaining compliance and transparency across all operations.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• A Master’s Degree in a related field or an MBA is preferred.
• Experience in Strategy Development, Strategic Planning or Operations Management in multi layered, multi function environment highly desirable.
• Experience in project management and team leadership is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively convey complex ideas and recommendations to various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of professional Strategy Development & Management, Operations Management and / or Business administration experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device or healthcare industry is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing and leading a team is strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% travel which may include overnights and/or weekends in support of the business is required.
