Customer Service Assistant

The Construction Customer Service Assistant plays a vital role in providing administrative support to the customer service and project management teams in the construction industry. This role involves assisting in client communications, documentation, and maintaining organized records to facilitate efficient project operations and ensure client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Communication: Assist in handling customer inquiries, requests, and concerns via phone, email, or in person, providing friendly and helpful responses.


2 .Documentation:Maintain and organize project-related documents, including contracts, change orders, permits, and project plans.


3. Scheduling:Coordinate appointments, meetings, and site visits between clients and construction teams, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely project updates.


4. Record Keeping: Create and maintain accurate records of client interactions, project progress, and communications using appropriate software or tools.


5. Project Support: Assist project managers and field teams in preparing project documentation, such as reports, progress updates, and safety compliance records.


6. Billing Assistance:Collaborate with the finance department to address client billing inquiries, review invoices, and help resolve any billing discrepancies.


7. Materials and Supplies:Track and coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials and supplies as needed.


8. Safety Compliance: Assist in monitoring safety compliance on construction sites and help address safety concerns raised by clients or teams.


9. Client Feedback: Collect and document client feedback, suggestions, and concerns, and communicate these to project managers and construction teams for continuous improvement.


10. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the customer service and project management teams, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
