As Catering & Events Sales Coordinator, you’ll assist with revenue generation of the hotel and providing administrative service for the hotel sales team – monitor sales activities and events in line with annual sales and marketing plan, achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy and monitor results to ensure they are achieved.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Maintain regular contact with IHG hotels in Singapore and regional reservation office
- Assist superior in managing all employee related matters such as recruiting, counselling and coaching
- Build rapport and strong relations with employees
- Attend regular sales meetings and all sales department mail to maintain a correspondence database
- Entertain clients and provide proper customer service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, business generators, meeting and convention planners, corporate accounts and other producers closely allied to our hotel
- Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
What we need from you
● A minimum qualification in Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management
● Confident in handling cold calls, email writing and responding to client's enquiries
