RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating with other trades to integrate designs between the Platform and Systems.
- Drafting the General Arrangement Plan (GAP).
- Compiling tender proposals and technical specifications for tender submissions.
- Establishing Major Equipment Specifications and Selections.
- Verifying the accuracy and maintenance of equipment specifications, technical information, functional description documents, installation control documents, and interface design specifications, ensuring they are correctly utilized in design activities.
- Planning and overseeing the schedule of Basic design documents to align with project milestones.
- Developing new designs and design concepts.
- Identifying and acquiring new design tools.
- Providing specialized technical assessments and analyses to both in-house departments and external parties.
- Continuously updating and expanding the design database.
- Addressing design aspects for systems including Radars, Navigation Comms, Integrated Comms, Integrated Combat Systems, and Layout designs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Marine / Maritime Related Projects
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Project Management experience is an advantage.
