This is a 6 Months Contract role (Subject to renewal)
- For 6 months, you will be the HR Project Manager supporting the formation of the Performance Materials business unit across Asia Pacific (APAC), and will be a business partner to the APAC Senior Director of Performance Materials.
- You will report to the APAC HR VP and work closely with the country HRs across the region to align on the development and implementation of business-people strategies under this business unit.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES SHALL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:
1. Business and HR leadership:
- Work closely with the HR & Managers in the development and review of the overall business-people strategy and ensure implementation.
- Plan, manage, and lead organizational change processes to improve effectiveness.
- Act as a primary contact to functional managers for organizational development strategies and tactics
- Support and assist in the development and implementation of supervisory and management training programs.
2. Talent & Performance Management
- Lead the employee engagement agenda. Develop & drive business and region sponsored employee engagement programs.
- Support the leadership in the business and the employees in making sure performance management is properly administered.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers in the performance management process
- Partner with the Senior Director in deploying the Talent & succession planning process for the country.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/ Master in Human Resources
- 10 years + of experience as a HR Business Partner and/or Country/Business HR lead.
- Experience as a HR Strategic Partner and a proven ability to partner with Senior leaders.
- Mandatory to have deep industry knowledge in Tapes and Durables products
- Extensive experience with Avery Dennison customer ecosystem
- Experience in Talent Management and Performance Management.
- Experience managing/supporting China, including regional teams.
- Proven ability to understand and provide creative solutions to business challenges
- Excellent leadership, team building, facilitation, relationship building and consultation skills.
- Proven ability to drive people's agenda with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
- Strong customer focus and orientation.
