As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This is a senior-level position requiring 10 to 15 years Cooking across cultures experience
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 10 years of Various Countries experience.
- Culinary training or apprenticeship certification a plus
- Knowledge of menu creation
- Able to maintain cost and quality standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven culinary catering talent
- Able to work effectively under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
Roles and Responsibilities
• Setting up the kitchen prior to a restaurant’s opening
• Preparing a particular kitchen station by bringing all food containers to that point in the line
• Cooking a specific portion of each plated meal
• Assisting with marinating, cutting and precooking foods
• Cleaning the kitchen before the restaurant closes
• Cleaning and sanitising their area with warm water and soap
• Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper areas at the end of a shift
• Plating food creatively and maximising customer enjoyment
