Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes from both Western and Italian cuisine.
- Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards.
- Adhere to proper food handling and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with the development of new menu items and specials as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the kitchen.
- Assisting with other tasks and duties as assigned by the head chef
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in Italian and Western cuisine
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
