Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Production Manager to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise personnel to uphold safety standards and optimize productivity within the machine shop
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, on-time delivery, and productivity objectives
- Oversee allocation and utilization of resources including staff, equipment, tooling, and programs for smooth operations
- Analyze intricate machine blueprints for production feasibility
- Suggest and execute tooling and fixtures strategies for machining intricate components, while managing cost efficiencies
- Collaborate with the company’s sales team to provide accurate machining time estimates
- Investigate and address variances between planned and actual outcomes, implementing corrective measures as necessary
- Oversee daily meetings for material review, offering technical insights for non-conformance resolutions
- Engage in quality issue troubleshooting, liaising with external vendors as needed
- Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products
- Champion and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field of studies
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Oil & Gas industry
