We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join our client's team as Temporary Manual Bulk Sorters at their Pandan Crescent location. This role involves sorting bulky parcels, operating material handling equipment, and adhering to safety standards. Job Scope:
· Sorting of bulky parcels by pre-sorting to area code followed by fine sorting to specific destinations.
· Utilize a handheld device (PDA) for scanning and tracking parcels.
· Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet trucks or forklifts as required.
· Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the duty Supervisor.
· Adherence to safety guidelines is a must, including wearing safety shoes and a reflective strip vest belt at all times during shifts.
Requirements:
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with using handheld devices (PDA) for scanning.
· Previous experience in operating material handling equipment is advantageous.
· Commitment to safety protocols, including wearing the proper safety attire.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy parcels for the duration of the shift.
· Flexible availability to work evening or night shifts, including weekends.
· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
