about the role
- Familiar with MAS Security regulatory requirements and Bank’s policies and IT security best practices
- Part of the Technology Risk Mgmt (“TRM”) team to maintain a strong governance and technology risk management process
- Perform gap assessment against regulatory technology risk and cybersecurity requirements, monitor for changes or updates to the respective regulatory requirements, suggest recommendations, continuous improvement to the technology risk and cybersecurity framework when necessary
- Represent TRM team, work closely with respective stakeholder (mainly 1st line of defence) to oversight incident root causes analysis and ensure it is remediated correctly
- Assist crafting of technology related policies by contributing the technical and security aspect to compliance with regulatory and bank requirements
- Responsible to organize Adversarial Attack Simulation Exercise, or Purple Teaming
- Responsible for Risk Register monitoring and necessarily follow up of treatment plan, work closely with relevant stakeholders, e.g. risk action owners, to ensure the treatment plan is carried out correctly
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Minimum 7 years’ experience within information security with at least 3 years in security operation or related hands-on experience.
- Good knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, cyber security technologies, including cloud security principles, practices and solutions.
- Experience on security assessment, improvement and solution finding
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and associated security controls
