Job Description:
- Evaluate supplier and service provider performance regularly, participate in audits, and implement necessary improvements.
- Improve supply chain performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery efficiency.
- Make decisions on in-house production versus outsourcing and select suppliers/sources.
- Manage supplier interactions, monitor performance, and handle claims.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
- Identify potential suppliers and sourcing options.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.
- Lead the purchase-to-payment cycle and ensure compliance.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement programs.
- Supervise expenditure and budget adherence, stay updated on market trends.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or General Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain or related field.
- Relevant certification and 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in Aerospace MRO.
- Strong negotiation, analysis, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in IT and data analytics.
- Ability to work independently and with different teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide solutions.
- Willingness/ability to travel and work outside office hours when needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office and presentation skills.
- Positive attitude, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
