This role is for Essilor Singapore, a sole proprietorship owned by EssilorLuxottica Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.
The role of an Account Development Executive is dynamic and requires a combination of sales skills, industry knowledge and customer relationship management expertise.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
Account Management
Handle account inquiries, resolve eyecare practitioners complaints and ensure timely delivery of products and services. Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales support, and logistics to meet eyecare practitioners expectations.
Sales and Revenue Generation
Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting ophthalmic lens products, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with eyecare practitioners.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing eyecare practioners, including opticians, optometrists, optical retail chains and distributors.
Business Development
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's customer base.
Product Knowledge
Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and products in the ophthalmic lens industry. Provide product demonstrations and training to clients as needed.
Market Analysis
Understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends. Use this information to develop targeted sales and marketing strategies.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with proven track records
· Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
· Possess strong team player skills
· Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint
· Ability to embrace change and adapt
