Title: Customer Service Desk Representative (Finance Industry)


Responsibilities:

1.Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to customers in person, over the phone, or via email/chat.

2.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the products and services offered by the company to effectively assist customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and troubleshooting.

3.Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.

4.Identify opportunities to promote additional financial products or services that align with clients' needs and preferences, contributing to the institution's revenue growth and client retention goals.

5.Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new financial productsor services through ongoing training to enhance knowledge and performance in the role.

6.Gather feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement in products, services, or customer service processes and relay this information to relevant departments.

7.Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to relay information, escalate issues when necessary, and collaborate to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries.8.Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the company's database or CRM system.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, banking, or financial services industry highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, services, and terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required
