Role Overview
Based in the Sales Finance team, the Project or Data Analyst will be assist to improve the sales reporting granularity. The ideal candidate should be methodical, analytical, able to work with large amounts of data and good at problem solving as well as troubleshooting.
Key Tasks
- Build and maintain a good professional relationship with both internal (IT, Sales, Finance) and external partners of the APAC region.
- Project manage each onboarding activity through initial assessments, agreement on delivery dates, reporting methods and file testing.
- Provide prompt feedbacks/responses to conclude a timely cadence of reporting from the Partner in production.
- Regularly track and communicate the status of your portfolio of partners to onboard.
- Work methodically to document changes in status and demonstrate the ability to forecast completion dates.
- Continuous improvement on the overall process for better efficiency.
- Data analysis where required to ensure good data integrity.
- Work effectively as a team to cross-train and share ideas to progressively improve the process and implement better efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent.
- At least 1 year experience in project management, data capture/analysis and/or working with external customers/partners.
- Possess good MS Excel skills.
- Proactive and determined to drive actions and results to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated individual, able work independently or in a team.
- Knowledge/Familiarity of reporting methods including EDI (electronic data interchange), sFTP (secured File Transfer Protocol), ASIR (Web) and API is preferable but not required.
