We are seeking a talented .NET PHP Application Support Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our .NET and PHP-based applications. As a .NET PHP Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, deploying updates, and optimizing performance to deliver a seamless user experience. This role requires a strong understanding of both .NET and PHP technologies, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for .NET and PHP applications, including issue diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Monitor the performance and health of .NET and PHP applications, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
- Manage the deployment process for application updates, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment with minimal disruption to users.
- Collaborate with development teams to communicate user-reported issues, provide feedback on application performance, and suggest improvements.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, known issues, and best practices for handling .NET and PHP applications.
- Conduct training sessions or create knowledge base articles to help users and support team members.
- Optimize application performance by identifying opportunities for code optimization, database query tuning, or architectural improvements.
- Ensure that .NET and PHP applications adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, working closely with security teams to implement necessary measures.
- Coordinate incident response efforts for critical issues, including communication with stakeholders, prioritization of tasks, and escalation as needed.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and workflows to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of application support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of both .NET framework and PHP programming language.
- Experience providing technical support for .NET and PHP applications in a production environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and identify root causes.
- Experience with application performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with deployment processes and configuration management.
