Connect Energy partners with a consultancy firm to look for a Lead Fire Engineer for their upcoming project in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing fire protection strategies, systems and protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of the facility are met.
- Design fire prevention and suppression systems, conducting risk assessments and providing expert guidance on fire safety measures to mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations
- Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Develop comprehensive emergency response plans and procedures to address fire incidents, leaks, spills, and other emergency response in the plant.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate regulatory inspections and audits as necessary
Requirements
- Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 15 years relevant experience in LNG/ FSRU preferred
- Must have fire fighting engineering in FEED/EPC experience for LNG process facility
- Willing to take 18 - 24 months contract
