Job Description
· Responsible for GHG NEA audit
o Form partnerships with stakeholders with aligned goals to reduce GHG emissions in the supply chain.
o Update and get approval when changes are made on the monitoring plan, procedure, source, and stream.
o Conduct internal audits in assessing the company’s Energy Management System, GHG verification, and related management schemes.
· Responsible for Water Efficiency Management Plan
o Routine check on water meter readings every month and submit to Finance and SP group. Collect water usage data from operations on a monthly basis.
o Arrange and coordinate with PUB for the bi-monthly site visits.
o Responsible for WEMP submission.
· Manage company’s utility
o Generate and monitor utility budget.
o Gather information about how much energy and water each department uses and analyze it on a regular basis to look for patterns and trends using a regression model.
o Report during the monthly operational meetings about the previous month's energy consumption, performance against benchmarks, and raise awareness about the need of reducing energy use, carbon emissions, and water usage.
· Energy efficiency plan and project
o Shall develop and monitor environmental management practices and programs that support sustainable development.
o Prepare official proposals for each of the new projects, including estimated costs and anticipated savings in energy.
o Coordinate with the operational departments to go through the project execution process.
o Monitor and direct the execution of both short-term and long-term programs and strategies designed to reduce energy use.
Job Requirements
· At least 5 years’ experience managing GHG emissions in the relevant industry
· Able to demonstrate the working ability to calculate GHG emissions based on internationally recognized methodologies.
· Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification is preferred
· Prior experience working in the chemical industry is an advantage
