Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and review financial models for greenfield, brownfield and M&A transactions in the power and utilities, renewables industry
- Conduct research on industry landscape, competitors analyses, market trends; assessment of commercial viability, perform financial and credit analyses and valuation of companies/assets, including research on relevant market and transaction comparable; and identifying the key risks and potential mitigants in transactions
- Provide execution support including the evaluation of deal structure, coordination of the various due diligence workstreams and review of transaction documentation
- Preparation and review of presentation and materials used for engaging internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Markets/Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Tax, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Key Skills, Competencies & Behaviors
- Degree in Finance / Business Administration / Accounting / Economics / Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Investment Banking / Transaction Advisory / Project Finance / Credit Analysis
- Experience in the Power and Utilities industry and familiarity with the broader energy industry will be an advantage.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in outputs.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
