Job Scope
- Responsible for planning, LAN design, configuration, installation, implementation and deployment of network infrastructure
- Perform documentation, test plans and procedures
- Perform network / systems testing
- Network troubleshooting and fault analysis
- To perform Preventive Maintenance for customer as allocated and scheduled
- To carry out Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures, involving fault troubleshooting, diagnosis & replacement of equipment/module/component at sites.
- When necessary escalate problems to the appropriate vendors / principals
- Require to travel to sites for work
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Electronics/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent
- Knowledge on LAN, WAN & Wireless, switching & routing technologies (such as VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGF, etc.) will be an added advantage
- Able to work effectively in an outdoor environment
- Strong communications and written skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Words, Power-point & Excel)
- Ability to work as a team and independently with minimum supervision
