Job Purpose:
Sourcing for and maintaining amiable business and personal relationships with clients. Sales Engineers are also expected to conduct market research to familiarize themselves with trends in demand, and to handle any quotation or billing concerns raised by clients.
Responsibilities:
• Canvass for business opportunities, establish new clients, maintain existing clients
• Organise structured sales visits, present products and services to new/existing clients
• Build a professional and personalized image with new/existing clients
• Provide quotations/knowledge to clients and follow up on any pre-sale requirements
• Understand and negotiate quotation/contracts with new/existing clients
• Coordinate with Business Support Department for any documentation related issues
• Coordinate with Operations Department for any service delivery related issues
• Understand clients complaints/dispute and manage them until successful resolution
• Handle clients complaints/dispute in a professional and personalized manner
• Prepare/submit/present weekly sales reports accurately and transparently
• Assist timely collection of debts and flag out potential risk
• Drive by Key Performance Index constantly, Set to achieve monthly & annual targets
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering or minimum A level or its equivalent
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales, Preferably Equipment Sales.
