Responsibilities:
- Manage the logistics team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth department operations.
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and implement the company's supply chain strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Supervise warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and proper documentation.
- Implement effective inventory management and cost control to align with business objectives.
- Ensure proper distribution of operational requirements.
- Lead and oversee the implementation and maintenance of all safety, health and environmental procedures in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Develop and maintain new in-house or ERP systems aimed at enhancing overall company efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain logistics policies and procedures to streamline operations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with various vendors and suppliers.
- Stay informed about supply chain regulations and legislation, ensuring full compliance.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties/tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in any field.
- At least 2 years of warehousing, delivering goods, and/or logistics experience, preferably in the F&B industry or similar.
- Possess Class 3 or Class 4 driving license will be an added advantage.
- Comfortable handling heavy loads of items.
- Willingness to learn with a good working attitude.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and be organized.
- Candidates without prior experience will be considered as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Able to commence immediately or within a short notice period will be an added advantage.
