Assistant Warehouse Manager | Manufacturing/ Automotive industry | Auto Packaging Equipment | Pioneer
Working Day: Mon to Fri
Working Hours: 8:15am -5:45pm
Working Location: Pioneer Crescent
Salary: $3000 - $3800
Job Responsibilities:
- To lead, motivate and empower the entire team in Packaging and Warehousing
- Manpower allocation with supervisors and leaders based on daily work activities within the different sections: Stock in /out; Packaging, and Warehousing
- Follow up operational issues to ensure proper closure e.g., machine breakdown update and report; pressure vessel, air con, lighting and electrical scheduled servicing.
- To promote and maintain an environment of continuous improvement for all assigned packaging works and processes.
- To highlight and address key issues of company matters during morning meeting
- To conduct interview and select warehouse and packaging candidates
- To appraise warehouse and packaging employee upon their confirmation and year end's performance
- To record and update daily packaging result
- To collate the final outgoing good packing and update outgoing good collection date in company system and BL date in SAP system
- Record and update daily withdrawal of packaging materials. Responsible to re-order packaging material as and when required
- To update and record attendance, lateness and OT records of all warehouse / packaging employee
- To update and record daily work efficiency data, i.e., number of man -hours per quantity.
- To generate report of damage/shortage item found during stock in/ packaging for the Sales team and HQ. Follow up on recovery of items.
- To ensure and carry out safety compliance at workplace
- Organize monthly and half yearly stock take
- To perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by operation manager in order to achieve departmental objective
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in manufacturing, packaging & assembling Industry/ mechanical engineering.
- Experience in packaging, auto packaging equipment, budgeting, costing, warehousing and SAP knowledge.
- Strong mechanical skills on auto equipment
