Department: Business Planning
Report to: Business Planning Manager
Supervise: -
Functional Relationships with: Planning, Marketing teams & factories mainly in Singapore, Japan & elsewhere locations related members for both planning & marketing point of view
Position Profile:
Based in: Singapore
The successful candidate will: be taking care of business management of product & factory planning.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, create & execute strategies on business operations, including:
- Ensure alignment with corporate policy & business unit direction with Mid Term Sales Plan created & execution
- Review past sales performance & make annual budget with business strategies with relevant parties
- Analyze market, competition & company positioning & proceed short - mid term cost reduction activities to ensure financial goals such as revenue, margin, turns & optimal business portfolio
- Monitoring of business situation & make adjustment in actional plan, execute with relevant parties timely to ensure all plans reconcile and meet growth objectives
- Collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements
- Make product price policy for current & new product, perform pricing analysis & monitoring, periodical review & make business decisions on price adjustment timely basis
- Visualize overall business positioning and operation changes to ensure plans remain current and valid
- Create summaries and analysis that identify and make a compelling case for future opportunities
- Coordinate meetings with relevant functional units, document and distribute meeting minutes, ensure actions items are completed on time, communicate project status, escalate issues to management as appropriate
- Visit to overseas plants or offices to conduct business meetings, build professional rapport & grow business opportunities.
Ability / Competency Required:
- Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or business related field
- Electronics engineering knowledge will be advantageous
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Great inter-personality & enjoy working with different layer of people & across organizations / countries
- Positive attitude in challenging work environment
- Able to travel when necessary
- Willing to work / receive training in Japan when necessary (expected period: 2-3yrs)
