Job Description
- Responsible for overall regulatory compliance and risk management of the branch.
- Understand and respond to both Japanese and Singapore laws and regulations, including AML and environmental risks.
- Perform gap analysis, scenario analysis, and stress testing for the various risks (interest rate, foreign exchange, environment, liquidity, and credit) that the branch faces in order to analyze and manage risks.
- Perform market valuation, ECL calculation, etc. for financial assets held by the branch.
- Manage outsourcing vendors and system risk management for the branch.
Requirements and attributes
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- 5 years working experience in a financial institution.
- Working knowledge of the Japanese language and culture is required to communicate effectively with head office.
- Strong knowledge of both Singapore and Japanese laws and regulations.
- Knowledge and work experience in the following areas
- AML/KYC, CDD and clients on-boarding
- ECL methodology and processes
- Liquidity risk, Environmental risk and System risk
- Outsourcing management
