We are looking for an IT Operations (IT Ops) Manager to manage our IT infrastructure, oversee daily IT operations, manage resources, and drive continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure including network, systems, software and application, data storage and backup, and security.
- Serve as single point of contact for all matters related to IT operations and helpdesk.
- Conduct IT training for end users.
- Manage IT assets procurement and inventory, including tracking and disposal.
- Manage vendors and oversee project/maintenance service contracts as well as software licenses.
- Develop and maintain the IT policies. Lead the implementation of IT policies and standard operating procedures.
- Lead the IT disaster recovery and IT/data incident management.
- Lead the digitalisation efforts in the infrastructure domain.
- Manage IT projects as assigned.
- Assist in budget planning and paper writing.
- Supports the department in any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree with at least 3 years or diploma with at least 5 years in ITOps management, and:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations principles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Experience with cloud-based IT infrastructure.
- Project management experience.
- Budget management experience.
- ITIL certification or related a plus.
