Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing monthly and quarterly financial closing processes of reporting entities
- Review of quarterly Consolidation of Business Groups (BG), Financial & Management reporting reconciliation
- Manage forecasting and budget monitoring for Group corporate entities
- Liaise with external auditors on year-end finalisation of reporting entities’ statutory financial statements
- Conduct risk assessment analysis and implement business improvement strategies relating to insurance for the Group
- Ensure Group’s corporate policy on insurance is systematically implemented at different business units
- Prepare annual insurance budget, track premium payments and report deviations to management
- Establish and develop relationships with insurers, re-insurers and brokers
- Update and maintain robust records of Group-wide insurance premiums, coverage and claims for reporting; Analyse trends and make recommendations to management to optimize policies
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Possess a certified CA/CPA qualification & certification in general insurance
- Analytical with strong strategic planning capabilities
- Team player
