The Accountant is mainly responsible for the general accounting function including preparing
journal entries (accounts receivables and payables), ledgers and bank reconciliations. He/She
processes financial records such as bills, invoices, accounts payable and more.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Compile and present reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Ensure CPF contributions and payroll income tax are duly recorded and paid on time.
- Keep GST records properly maintained and presented to the fiscal authorities in a timely manner.
- Supervises physical inventories at regular intervals at all stores/warehouses, note discrepancies and recommend adjustment entries.
- Maintain a healthy relation with suppliers through timely payment of due invoices.
- Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field, Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3 Years of Experience; preferably in the F & B industry.
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Applications.

This job is office based, working hours may extend beyond the regular schedule such as
at the end of the financial year.
