As Executive, Training & Learning, you are responsible for the training and professional development of employees in respective division(s). You play a critical role in developing and executing learning and development initiatives within organisation. This role also manages the day-to-day activities, administers funding requirements, and work with training vendors to achieve learning and development outcomes.
A. Key Responsibilities:
Training and Funding Administration
- Plan, procure and implement staff learning and development programmes.
- Ensure timely registration of course applications, follow-up and work on necessary paperwork.
- Source and tap on relevant training grants and subsidies to support learning and development efforts of respective division(s).
- Administer bond/study sponsorship and necessary paperwork for successful applications in respective division(s).
- Manage and handle HRIS and LMS functions related to staff training and learning matters.
Learning & Development
- Manage and implement competency-based training frameworks through partnering with various business units to develop learning pathways for staff. Give advice and guide management and individual stakeholders on the competency development journeys.
- Cultivate meaningful relationship with key stakeholders of respective divisions to identify organisational learning needs, to design, develop, and implement targeted capability building programmes and/or initiatives to support the organisation's purpose.
- Involve in program development and delivery facilitated both on-line and in person.
- Generate and prepare report and develop comprehensive learning analytics for departments and management, enabling informed decision-making in the planning and refinement of training strategies.
Projects
- Participate and co-create organization development projects
- Contribute actively and performs other duties, special projects and activities as required by the organization.
B. Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources with at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development.
- Proven results in implementing and supporting key training initiatives and programmes.
- Good knowledge and experience in various training platforms and funding schemes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Sharepoint, MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint, etc.
- Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated project and time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Analytical, meticulous, resourceful and a team player.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
