Oversee warehouse operations by leading the team members to exceed expectations for productivity, daily workflow, product availability and accuracy.
Job Description: -
· Plan, assign and direct the overall warehouse operation/activities.
· Manage the entire warehouse operations from goods receipts to order management, picking, and Inventory management to order fulfillment.
· Ensure smooth data flow until the order fulfillment and delivery Job Requirements
· Ensure the orders received are dispatched accurately and within specified timelines.
· Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate at all times
· Conducts (when necessary) physical inventories and cycle counts.
· Report discrepancy such as shortages, excess and damaged cartons.
· Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
· Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
· People Development through regular feedbacks, coaching & mentoring, identifying, and facilitating training needs
· Perform daily housekeeping of the operation area such as disposal of damaged pallets and other unwanted packing materials upon completion of operations.
· Ensure warehouse safety and adhere SOP.
· Responsible for the store security and cargo preservation.
· To be aware of the environmental aspects and its impact in the daily course of work and take measures to minimize any significant impacts.
· To provide back up in the absence of peer or Supervisor
· Progressive reporting to Manager
· Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
· Undertake any other assignments, which the management may request from time to time.
Job Requirement: -
· Forklift License is a must have with experience in operating Forklift and Reachtruck.
· Min. Diploma and above in warehouse management
· Responsible, responsive, and committed
· Good time management skills and attention to details
· Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with a team
· Able to commit OT when required
· Fast learner and able to work independently with minimum supervision
· Experience in leading a team and knowing the importance of lead by example
· Computer skills: Microsoft office, WMS
