Responsibilities:
· Ensure that contractors carry out works without compromising safety, environmental, and health standards.
· Provide ongoing supervision for all civil and structural works to ensure compliance with Authority's Requirements, including but not limited to:
· Temporary Works such as excavation, strutting, earth retaining and stabilizing structures (ERSS), and ground improvement if necessary.
· Utility diversions, protection works, and supports for utilities if necessary. Management of risk registers, hazard logs, etc.
· Mobilization and demobilization of vehicles, machinery, and equipment. Cable preparation, cable pulling works, etc.
· Construction of Joint Bays and associated work. Cable jointing works in Joint Bays. Testing and commissioning works related to transmission cables.
· Prepare weekly summary reports on site management, highlighting safety issues and proposing improvements to the Company.
Requirements:
- Registered as a Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES.
- Minimum of Two (2) years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to the specified projects.
