1. Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance appraisal processes, forms, and matrices.
- Manage the staff retention process by gathering and managing employee feedback.
- Implement performance improvement plans to enhance employee performance.
- Develop and implement succession planning strategies.
- Support the consolidation of HR reports/analysis for the Group and generate statistical reports as and when required.
2. Payroll:
- Prepare payroll reports required for internal use and/or submission to relevant authorities
- Process government claims (Employee Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave, in-camp Training etc.)
- Attend to regulatory surveys, audits and system
- Review and ensure payroll procedures are aligned with corporate governance controls
- Assist with preparation of salary and allowances budget and reviews
3. Compensation and Benefits:
- Design and manage salary and incentive schemes to attract and retain talent.
- Oversee insurance and medical benefits programs.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates on compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Stay updated on market and industry benchmarks to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
4. HR Reporting/Dashboard:
- Maintain and provide regular updates on manpower status.
- Keep management informed about employee-related matters.
- Provide quarterly HR updates to the management team.
5. Projects:
- Plan, forecast, and manage HR budgets.
- Organize job fair events, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Approaching schools to offer internship and job opportunities after graduation.
6. Recruitment:
- Consolidating, reviewing and planning all the Guarding manpower needs to support Operations
- Strategies and plan recruitment road shows, advertisements, etc
- Organise and manage a team to be handle the screening of candidates via resumes and job application forms, and conducting all the essential screenings such as interviews, reference checks and credit liabilities
- Set up, manage and ensure all onboarding and new hire process such as:
1. Proper documentation of employee database and personnel files
2. Process work pass and license applications, issuance & cancellations
3. Conduct orientation
4. Background screening and checking
7. Others:
- Manage employee disciplinary cases and ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Develop and update HR policies and employee handbook.
- Ensure employee safety and wellness initiatives are in place.
- Promote employee satisfaction through various engagement initiatives.
- Enhance company brand image and awareness through effective HR practices.
- Provide oversight on overall HR functions within the organization.
- Lead a team of HR executives, strengthen team performance and standards.
- Promote staff awareness of workplace safety and health, communicate and educate staff on the Act’s requirement to continually drive awareness
- Manage and supervise the Office Admin Function
- Overall in charge of Office & HR Administration function (such as office rental, office workspace allocation, wellness program, season parking, staff pass, etc)
An ideal candidate should have the following:-
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Studies, or Business Administration
- At least five years of relevant experience (specifically in HR Governance, people risk management, HR budgeting, and Office Administration), amongst which 5 - 8 years in a people management role
- Well versed and knowledgeable in HRIS System (Just login, Unit4)
- Experiences in rolling out HRIS implementation projects within organizational
- Good knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Resourceful, independent, meticulous with a strong desire to learn, and be able to work in an agile environment
- Able to work independently with integrity under minimal supervision and collaboratively within and across teams
- Preferably able to commence work immediately
